Bank of Baroda Mauritius was established in 1962. It is a subsidiary of the multinational Bank of Baroda group that is based in India and is owned by the Indian government. The Mauritius operation has seven branches servicing the local community plus one offshore branch. There is also a network of ATMs and the company is run with about 77 employees. The range of products that it offers includes current accounts, savings accounts, fixed deposit accounts, foreign exchange services, debit cards, and mortgages.
